Update on Storm Darragh Impacts 13.12.24

Barnaslingan Wood – the forest will remain closed until further notice, there has been significant wind damage with multiple fallen trees blocking trails.

Cruagh Wood – there is no access to Cruagh Wood from the Tibradden Wood side due to a large fallen tree at the barrier, see photo below. A detour is in place.

Ticknock MTB Trails – fallen trees have been removed.

Tibradden – there is a fallen tree at the junction of the Dublin Mountains Way and Wicklow Way. It is possible to get around this tree by carefully going through the forest north of the tree.

Dublin Mountains Way – detours are in place to avoid Barnaslingan Wood and Cruagh Wood until further notice.
